Methods in Management (Master)

News:

The ISC is offering a test exam on January 21, 2021 at 15:00. If you wish to participate, please make sure to register for the regular exam “Methods in Management” in LSF until January 17, 2021. All students registered in LSF are registered automatically for the test exam. If you decide not to participate in the regular exam after the test exam, you can deregister from LSF until January 22, 2021.
We strongly advise you to participate in the test exam as you can practice the whole exam process.
For both the regular and the test exam, closely follow the technical instructions of the ISC (https://www.isc.uni-muenchen.de/pruefungen_corona/index.html). Make sure to deactivate the forwarding of your Campus-email to a private email account. In addition, ensure that enough storage capacity is available in your Campus-email account.

Exam review:

Date will be announced.

Please bring your ID card and your student ID card. If you want another person to review your exam, she needs an authorization form with your signature.

Target audience
Master students of management (MSc).

Topics
After the introduction of scientific basics, methodological basics and practical applications of four methodological approaches will be presented:

Qualitative Methods (Marketing)
Experimental Research (Market Based Management)
Systematic Review, Decision Analytical Models (Health Economics)
Obtaining and Preparing Data, Descriptive Analyses and Regressions, Quasi-Experimental Methods (Managerial Accounting)

These Topics should provide some insight into possible specializations of the master program. The lectures are accompanied by tutorials.

Material and Literature

Please refer to the document Lecutures_Tutorials_Dates_MiM_WS2021 on Moodle or LSF. This document provides detailed information on lecture/tutorial dates, times, contents, zoom links and passwords. Also, register for the Moodle course "Methods in Management WS 20/21". The access key for Moodle is available on LSF.

Please carefully read the document "Virtual CIP" for the computer tutorials of Prof. Nasev's part.
