Directions to reach us from the airport and the inner city
From Munich Airport to Marienplatz
- Take the S-Bahn lines S8 or S1 heading to Hauptbahnhof.
- Exit the train at Marienplatz. The trip takes approximately 40 minutes.
- Departure times from Marienplatz:
- S1: daily from 5:55am to 12:15am every 20 minutes from the terminal (time of travel to Marienplatz: 43 minutes)
- S8: daily from 4:05am to 1:05am every 20 minutes from the terminal (time of travel to Marienplatz: 35 minutes)
From Marienplatz to Universität
- At Marienplatz, take either line U6 (terminal stop Garching-Forschungszentrum) or line U3 (terminal stop Olympia-Einkaufszentrum) heading towards Münchner Freiheit.
- Both lines stop at Universität.
