We are inviting students from the University of Munich to join President Bill Clinton for the Clinton Global Initiative University. Through “CGI U,” students of all levels and backgrounds are provided with the tools needed to develop and accelerate their ideas to improve education, climate change, human rights, poverty alleviation, or public health, including:

• Access to a rigorous social impact curriculum
• Personalized mentorship through our global alumni network
• Funding opportunities through our partners

Acceptance into CGI U’s student programs also includes an invitation to a free virtual summit hosted by President Clinton and Chelsea Clinton, where students will come together to hear from a wide range of topic experts, leaders, and innovators to discuss how to turn their ideas into action – highlights from last year’s event included special guests U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and Stacey Abrams. Please see attached for more information about CGI U and the different student programs we offer.

In helping us identify emerging leaders within your network, we have a few quick asks:

• Nominate up to four students you feel would be exceptional candidates for CGI U. We will notify the students that you have nominated them and provide them with instructions on how to submit a successful application.
• Share on social media by using the sample language and graphics we have provided to help us raise awareness of this opportunity.
• Learn about our CGI U Network, a consortium of colleges and universities that are fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, innovation, and global citizenship on their campus through CGI U.
• Forward this message to students who might be interested in CGI U’s 2022 student programs. Our team would be more than happy to connect with prospective students to answer any questions they have.
• Encourage students to register for a Prospective Student Session to connect with other members of the CGI U team and to gain a deeper understanding of CGI U’s programs and approach to social impact
